When is Mother's Day?
In the United States, Canada, Australia and many other countries, Mother's Day is the second Sunday in May, which is the date this countdown uses (10 May in 2026, 9 May in 2027). The UK and Ireland celebrate Mothering Sunday three weeks before Easter, in March or early April; many Arab countries mark it on 21 March, and Mexico on 10 May. If your date is different, set it under "Change the event".
Florists and online shops get busy in the last week, so order flowers and gifts early, and book brunch or lunch a few weeks ahead. A shared countdown link is a nice reminder for siblings who are planning a gift together.
