What a two hours timer is good for
Two hours is the length of many exams, long study sessions, a slow roast or a feature film. Parents use it as a daily screen-time limit, and gamers to remind themselves to take a break. For anything this long, leave the screen on or keep the tab open so the alarm can sound, and plug in your phone.
The countdown is measured against the clock, so it stays accurate in a background tab, and the remaining time shows in the tab title. Need a different length? Tap one of the quick times or type your own. Everything runs in your browser with no app or sign-up.
FAQ
Will a 2-hour timer drain my battery?
The timer itself uses very little power; keeping the screen on does. Plug in for long timers.
Will the alarm go off if my phone screen locks?
Keep the screen on for the alarm to sound reliably; many phones pause web pages when locked. The timer tries to keep the screen awake while it runs.
Can I pause the timer?
Yes. Press Pause and then Resume. Reset starts it again from two hours.
