How to post a full photo without cropping
- Drop one or more photos on the box.
- Choose the frame: 4:5 for the tallest Instagram feed post, 1:1 square, 9:16 for Stories and Reels, or 16:9 for YouTube and X.
- Choose a blurred photo background (a soft, enlarged copy of your picture) or a solid color such as white. Add a border if you like a framed look.
- Download the result, or all of them as a ZIP, and post as usual: the app will not crop anything.
Why Instagram crops your photos
Feed posts must be between 1.91:1 (landscape) and 4:5 (portrait). A typical phone photo is 3:4 or 9:16, and a panorama is much wider, so Instagram forces a crop. Since the 2025 profile change the grid also shows posts as 3:4 thumbnails, cutting the sides of square images. Fitting your picture inside a 4:5 canvas with padding keeps every pixel of the original and gives the largest possible post in the feed. A blurred background extends the colors of the photo so the padding looks intentional rather than empty; white is a clean classic look for portfolios.
Images are exported at 1080 pixels wide, Instagram's display width, as high-quality JPEG. All processing happens in your browser: your photos are not uploaded, and no watermark is added.
What is the best size for a no-crop Instagram post?
1080 × 1350 pixels (4:5). It shows your whole photo at the largest size the feed allows.
Can I fit a vertical video frame?
Choose 9:16 for Stories and Reels covers. This tool works on photos; use a video editor for video.
Does this reduce quality?
The photo is scaled down to fit 1080 pixels wide, which is what Instagram shows anyway, and saved at 92% JPEG quality.
