How to play the online jigsaw puzzle
- Start with the sample picture, or press Use my photo to turn any picture into a puzzle. It is cropped to a square.
- Choose how many pieces: 9 for young children up to 64 for a longer challenge.
- Drag pieces from the tray onto the board. When a piece is close to its correct spot it snaps into place. Turn the faint guide picture on or off to make it easier or harder.
A relaxing puzzle with your own pictures
Jigsaw puzzles are a calm, screen-friendly way to unwind and a good workout for visual memory and spatial reasoning. Using your own photos makes them personal: a holiday snap, a pet, a family picture for a grandparent, or a drawing a child made. Strategy is the same as with a cardboard jigsaw: find the corners and edges first, then group pieces by colour and pattern and build outwards.
The pieces here are square tiles rather than classic interlocking shapes, which keeps them easy to see and drag on a phone, and the snapping means you never have to place a piece pixel-perfectly. Your photo is processed entirely in your browser and is not uploaded or saved anywhere.
