Convert iPhone photos
Runs only when your photos are HEIC files from an iPhone; it converts them to JPG so the next step can read them. Other photos pass straight through.
Cut the product out
The background is removed on your device by an AI model, which downloads once the first time. Check the edges, use the touch-up brush where needed, and download the transparent PNG. Shiny, transparent or white-on-white products may need touching up.
Place it on white at the marketplace size
Pick Amazon, Etsy, Shopify or eBay. The product is centred on its own outline and scaled so its longest side fills 85% of the square (80% for Etsy, whose thumbnails are cropped), on pure white. Amazon, Etsy and eBay get a JPEG; Shopify gets a PNG, the type its help centre prefers. The table shows each file's size and how much of the frame the product fills.

FAQ
Does Amazon require a white background?
For the main image, yes: Amazon's seller help asks for a pure white background, RGB 255, 255, 255, with the product shown as 85% of the image. Other images in the listing can show the product in use.
How is the 85% measured here?
The longest side of the product's outline is 85% of the image's side, with the product centred. The space around it is exactly white.
Can I add a shadow?
Yes, tick Soft shadow in the studio step. The area under the shadow is then not pure white, so leave it off for Amazon main images.
Do I need the background remover if my photo is already on white?
Not always. If you shot the product on a plain, light backdrop, skip the background remover: the studio detects a plain backdrop by its colour and turns it pure white.
