How to convert SVG to PNG

  1. Drop an .svg file on the box or paste the SVG code.
  2. Enter the width you want in pixels, or tap a preset size such as 512 or 1024. The height follows the SVG's proportions.
  3. Leave Background unticked for a transparent PNG, or tick it and pick a color.
  4. Click Download PNG.

Why convert SVG to PNG?

SVG is a vector format that stays sharp at any size, but many places do not accept it: social networks, app stores, email signatures, Office documents, older apps and many upload forms want PNG or JPG. Because an SVG is a description of shapes rather than pixels, you can render it at exactly the resolution you need without any blurring: a 24 px icon becomes a crisp 2048 px graphic.

The conversion uses your browser's own SVG renderer, so it matches what you see in the preview. If the SVG has no width and height, its viewBox is used for the proportions. SVGs that load external images or web fonts may render without them; embed fonts as paths for reliable results. Scripts inside SVG files never run. Everything happens on your device.

FAQ

How do I make a high-resolution PNG from SVG?

Type a large width, such as 4096. SVG is resolution-independent, so the PNG stays sharp.

Does the PNG keep transparency?

Yes, unless you tick Background to fill it with a color.

Can I convert many SVGs at once?

One at a time here. Each conversion takes only a moment.
