About camelCase
camelCase joins words without spaces and capitalises each word except the first: "user first name" becomes userFirstName. The humps of capitals give it its name. It is the standard style for variables, functions and properties in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Swift and C#, and for JSON keys in many APIs. PascalCase (also called UpperCamelCase) capitalises the first word too, UserFirstName, and is used for classes, types, React components and C# methods.
The converter splits words on spaces, underscores, hyphens, dots and existing capital letters, and removes punctuation, so it can also translate between naming styles, for example turning database column names in snake_case into camelCase properties. Each line is converted separately, so you can paste a whole list. Acronyms are treated as words, so "HTML parser" becomes htmlParser, matching most style guides.
Everything runs locally in your browser.
