Certificate Maker

Printable certificates for awards and courses

How to make a certificate

  1. Choose a design: Classic with a formal border, Modern with bold corners, or Kids with stars for younger children.
  2. Edit the title (Certificate of Achievement, Completion, Appreciation, Participation…), the recipient's name and the reason for the award.
  3. Add a date, up to two signature lines with names and roles, a colour and, optionally, your school or company logo.
  4. To make a set for a whole class or team, enter one name per line: every certificate prints on its own page. Press Print / Save as PDF, choose landscape if asked, and print or save.

Ideas for certificates

Teachers use certificates for star of the week, reading challenges, spelling bees, perfect attendance, sports day and end-of-year awards. Clubs and coaches hand them out for participation and personal bests, businesses for training completion and employee of the month, and parents for potty training, swimming badges or a great school report. A printed certificate with a real signature still means a lot, especially to children.

For the best result, print on thick paper or card (160–250 gsm), set the print scale to 100% and turn off headers and footers in the print dialog. Saving as PDF lets you email certificates to students learning at home.

Everything, including your logo, stays in your browser. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed.

How do I print several certificates at once?

Type one recipient name per line. Each name gets its own page when you print or save as PDF.

What paper size does it use?

The design is landscape and fits both A4 and US Letter. Choose your paper in the print dialog.

Can I add a school logo?

Yes. Press Add logo and choose an image from your device. It appears at the top of every certificate.
