Printable 75-ball, 90-ball and word bingo cards

How to make bingo cards

  1. Choose classic 75-ball bingo (5 × 5 with B-I-N-G-O columns, US style), 90-ball bingo (3 rows of 9, UK style), or custom cards with your own words, names or vocabulary.
  2. Set how many cards you need. Every card is different.
  3. Print the cards two per page, and use Caller list for a random calling order so you can run the game without a machine.

Bingo for classrooms, parties and events

Custom word bingo is a versatile teaching game: put vocabulary, sight words, times-table answers, chemical symbols or French verbs on the cards, then read out definitions, sums or translations instead of the words themselves, so players have to think before they mark a square. It also works for baby showers, office ice-breakers ("someone who has been to Japan"), road trips and festive parties. A free centre square on odd-sized grids makes the first line come a little sooner.

In 75-ball bingo each column draws from its own range: B 1–15, I 16–30, N 31–45, G 46–60 and O 61–75. In 90-ball bingo each card has 15 numbers on three rows of five, with each column holding a range of ten (1–9, 10–19 and so on up to 80–90); prizes usually go for one line, two lines and a full house. Cards are generated in your browser with secure random numbers, and nothing is stored.

How many words do I need for word bingo?

At least as many as the squares on a card: 24 for 5 × 5 with a free square, 15 for 4 × 4. More words make cards more varied.

Are all the cards different?

Yes. Duplicate cards are discarded when they are generated.

What is the difference between 75-ball and 90-ball bingo?

75-ball uses a 5 × 5 card and is popular in North America; 90-ball uses a 3 × 9 card with 15 numbers and is traditional in the UK and Ireland.
