Prompt Library

Copy-ready prompts for writing, code and study

How to use the prompt library

  1. Browse by category, from writing and email to coding, analysis, study, business and image prompts, or search for a task such as "summary" or "tests".
  2. Press Copy and paste the prompt into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot or any other assistant. Replace the highlighted {{placeholders}} with your details, or paste the prompt into our Prompt Template Builder to fill them in a form.
  3. Save your own prompts with + Save my own. They are kept in this browser and appear at the top.

What makes these prompts work

Each prompt follows patterns that reliably improve answers from language models. They give the model a clear role and audience, state the task in specific terms, set constraints such as length or reading level, and say exactly what the output should look like, for example a table, JSON or a list ranked by importance. Long inputs are fenced in triple quotes or code blocks so the model can tell your instructions from your material. Several prompts also ask the model not to invent missing information, which reduces made-up answers.

Treat them as starting points. Add context the model cannot know, such as your product, your style guide or an example of a good answer, and iterate: if a reply is too long, too vague or in the wrong tone, say so and ask again. Always check facts, figures and code before relying on them. The library is a static page; nothing you search for or save leaves your device.

Do these prompts work with any AI?

Yes. They are plain text and work with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Llama and other chat models.

Where are my saved prompts stored?

In your browser's local storage on this device. Clearing site data removes them, so keep a copy of important ones.

What are the curly-brace parts?

Placeholders. Replace each one, including the braces, with your own text. A value after a bar, like {{tone|friendly}}, is a suggested default.
